ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY OF MY BARCELONA SCHOOL DIRECTORY
1. Scope and applicability
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) establishes the terms of use of the School Directory ("Directory") owned by Anya van der Drift with NIE Y2035820N and with postal address at Carrer Espinoi 11, 08023 Barcelona ("My Barcelona School") that must be complied with by any person who accesses, uses, or uploads information to the Directory (“Users”).
So that, by accessing the Directory, Users agree to comply with the terms set forth in this Policy.
2. Permitted use of the Directory
Users may use the Directory strictly to:

Provide contact information to My Barcelona School.

Create a listing in the Directory in accordance with the limitations of the subscription with My Barcelona School.

Upload accurate information and data about the educational institution you represent in accordance with the terms of the subscription with My Barcelona School.

Update the information provided in the directory listing for the educational institution you represent at any time.
3. Prohibited use of the Directory
Users must not use the Directory:

In a way that breaches or encourages other to breach any applicable laws

For any fraudulent or other unlawful purpose or activity

In a way that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity.

To distribute viruses or malware or other similar harmful software code.

To extract and/or reuse all or a substantial part of the content of the Directory.

To share or promote unsolicited advertisements or send spam. To simulate communications from My Barcelona School or another service or entity in order to collect information, authentication credentials, or other information from third parties.

To defame any other person or entity.

In any manner that harms minors.

In any manner that disrupts the operation of the Directory or the website or business of any other entity.

Republishing, reselling or redistributing My Barcelona School data or educational institutions information for commercial purposes without authorization.

Using the service in any way that breaches local, regional, national, or EU laws, including GDPR and data protection requirements. In particular, the User may not upload to the Directory personal data of Data Subjects for whom the educational institution has not duly obtained their consent to such purposes.

Upload information to the Directory that has been obtained illegally or that in any way violates the law or any third-party rights, including applicable privacy and intellectual property regulations.

To obtain unauthorised access to or use of the computers, data, databases, systems, accounts or networks of My Barcelona School. To attempt to circumvent password or user account or authentication methods established by My Barcelona School.
4. Security guidelines
To protect the Directory integrity, User data, and the information uploaded in the Directory, Users must:

Access and use the Directory with secure, updated devices and browsers. Likewise, the User must access the Directory connected through secure internet networks.

Immediately report any security vulnerabilities, breaches, or suspicious activity to My Barcelona School in relation to the Directory or the information uploaded.

Avoid sharing login credentials or links provided by My Barcelona School with unauthorized parties.
5. Education institution data ownership
All content, data and information uploaded to the Directory by the Users will remain the exclusive property of the Users and/or the education institution the User represents.
My Barcelona School will have a limited and non-exclusive right to access, use and communicate publicly this information for the purposes stated in this Policy and the services provided to the education institution.
6. Changes to this Policy
My Barcelona School reserves the right to modify or update this Policy at any time. In any case, Users are advised to consult them periodically as they may be modified, in which case notification will be provided via a visible notice when accessing the Directory.
