Purpose of Personal Data Processing

We collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows.

For All Subscriptions (Basic, Standard and Premium):​

• Identity and contact Data: first name, last name, business address, email address and telephone number.

For Standard and Premium subscriptions only:

• Transaction and Financial Data: details of payment details, including name, business and billing address,Tax ID number to be used for invoicing purposes; details of subscription chosen.

The personal data provided will only be used for the following purposes:

1. To contact you, as contact person of the school or educational institution, which is part of our Directory, to manage the subscription to our School Directory and for the purposes of points 2 and 3 below. 

2. To manage, develop, execute and maintain the subscription to our School Directory, including carrying out the necessary commercial and administrative procedures and compliance with the obligations in relation thereof. ​

3. To process payments of invoices resulting from the subscription to our School Directory (for Standard & Premium Subscriptions only).
    

Lawfulness of personal data processing 

1. The legal basis for data processing is the performance of a contractual relationship resulting from your school´s subscription to our School Directory. 

2. Where a contractual relationship exists, the refusal to provide the required personal data necessary for the performance of the contract may result in the inability to fulfil the obligations under the contract or to provide the associated services.
    

Transfers to third parties and international transfers

1. Your personal data may be transferred by Anya van der Drift, My Barcelona School to third parties (e.g., tax authorities or other public administrations), when required by applicable law from time to time; and to financial entities for the management of payments, if required, also service providers such as, tax advisers, agents, lawyers, IT professionals, as data processors, shall have access to this data.

Anya van der Drift, My Barcelona School engages data processors (www.wix.com) for the storage of personal data, which may locate it outside the EU/EEA, or may involve transferring such data to countries outside the EU/EEA. Therefore, Anya van der Drift, My Barcelona School transfers the personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA. Any transfers of personal data outside the EU/EEA are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection laws and are subject to appropriate safeguards as shown in the Wix's Data Privacy Policy available at https://www.wix.com/about/privacy. These safeguards may include reliance on an EU Adequacy Decision, the use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission for such transfers, or adherence to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Data retention
Your personal data will be retained for the duration of our contractual relationship with the school, which is part of our Directory and for the period necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations. Once the purpose for which the data was collected has been fulfilled, the data will be restricted and stored only for the duration of the applicable statute of limitations for any related legal claims. After this period has expired, the data will be securely and permanently deleted. 

For any specific data privacy terms not outlined here, we refer to the additional data privacy provisions in this data privacy policy, insofar as they are applicable. 

The Barcelona School reserves the right to replace, add or change any data processors and update this data privacy clauses accordingly.
