For some years I have been supporting the Barcelona City Council International Economic Promotion Department with the output they create for families with school-aged children moving to Barcelona.
This booklet, published in February 2024, offers a comprehensive guide to the education system offered in Barcelona and offers tips and advice of the things to think about when placing your child in a school here.
Do you know the difference between a public / state school and a concertada? Want to know understand more about special educational needs provision? Do you want to know what pre-university qualifications are offered in the city?
This guide was written with these questions and more in mind.
