EUROPEAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF BARCELONA was founded in 1996 by the Herranz-Frías family, experienced educators committed to creating a learning environment where students can grow holistically.

EISB is an independent international school with a humanistic, ecological and global approach to education. The school tailors its programmes to each student, promoting wellbeing, sustainability, academic excellence and the development of individual talents and skills.

With over 1,500 students representing more than 60 nationalities, EISB offers an educational journey from Nursery through to the second year of Baccalaureate. Students may choose between the Spanish National Baccalaureate, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and the American High School Diploma.
