European International School of Barcelona

European International School of Barcelona (EISB) was founded in 1996 by the Herranz-Frías family, experienced educators committed to creating a learning environment where students grow holistically.

We are an independent school with a humanistic, ecological and international approach, constantly adapting programmes to meet the needs of each pupil. Our mission is to make the most of students’ time with us, developing their talents and skills, encouraging sustainability and valuing the unique contributions each can bring to society.

With 1500 pupils of over 50 different nationalities, our project begins in Nursery and continues to the 2nd year of Baccalaureate, where students may choose between the National Baccalaureate, the International Baccalaureate (IBDP) or the American High School Diploma.

Located just 15 km from the centre of Barcelona and surrounded by the Collserola Natural Park, the school has 10,503 m² of facilities, including classrooms, a library, laboratories, dining halls, an auditorium, kitchen and a large indoor sports pavillion, with two climatised swimming pools.

A distinctive feature of EISB is its exclusive Boarding School for boys aged 14–18 enrolled in the high-performance football programme. It provides modern accommodation, top-level training facilities, and a balanced schedule combining sport and academic studies.
